House System
Our school has a house system that was developed to promote an inclusive and positive atmosphere. The system has been designed to create a supportive and caring environment where students feel valued and welcome. The system is divided into four parts – Netaji, Tagore, Teresa and Vivekananda teaching students to demonstrate allegiance and loyalty while contributing to the success of their house.
Club System
Academic excellence is important in life but when it comes to the actual work on the ground, there are more skills you can aim to have which are beyond the classroom. It is important to appreciate the contribution of the set of skills a learner can obtain from being part of a club at school. Clubs can offer important life skills that a learner can use for the rest of his or her life. Participating in club activities helps improve communication skills which are important for career, as well as leadership and teamwork. At Aditya Academy Secondary, we have 6 clubs, which are, Creative & Cultural Club; Film making and Dramatics, Sports, Eco Cub, Tech Club and Literary Club.
Quizzing & Public Speaking
We host an array of quiz competitions allowing students to identify things they know and ones they don’t. It ensures students can grasp material easily and be motivated to put in extra effort and effectively focus on the information that requires more work. Additionally, our students can develop their communication skills with public speaking opportunities. With its help, they can learn to speak more fluidly and build confidence to address large public settings.
Art & Craft
We offer numerous arts & crafts-related fun activities that enhance student’s interest in their curriculum by giving them a break from their routine. It provides challenges for learners at all levels and allows them to exploit their artistic potential, improve hand-eye coordination, enhance self-expression, memory, visual learning and overall development.
Cultural Events
Our school hosts various cultural events that have become an integral part of the learning process, allowing students to develop skills that are beyond their knowledge of subjects being taught. We conduct numerous activities to celebrate various important days and festivals with the aim to bring social skills, character appeal, personality progress and intellectual dexterity in all our students.
Aditya Bhoomi (Organic Farming Unit)
We have an organic farm that goes by the name “Aditya Bhoomi”, spread across 18 acres and is exclusively dedicated and developed for organic farming. The vegetables grown in this unit are included in meals for students boarding in our hostels in an attempt to offer healthy and safe food. Additionally, students receive hands-on training in urban agriculture from planning to various planting techniques.
Gen Next
Our Annual Day Celebration goes by the name of “Gen Next” during which we conduct a program where students and teachers can take part in the different events being hosted. It offers a great opportunity for students to display talent in their chosen field. Furthermore, to encourage a competitive spirit among them, we also conduct a major event where students have complete freedom to present various performing arts forms such as singing, dancing and playing different instruments among numerous other activities. These can stimulate a healthy spirit of competition in students of all age groups.
